On March
24th,
investigators
with the
Wood
County
Sheriff’s
Department
executed
a search
warrant
at 654
Village
trail at
Holly
Lake
Ranch.
Cary Don
Whitney,
40, and
his
wife,
Misty
Renee
Whitney,
35, live
at the
residence.
Both
were at
the
residence
when the
officers
arrived.
A loaded
syringe
plus
assorted
prescription
pills
and
paraphernalia
were
found,
Misty
Whitney
was
charged
with
manufacture/delivery
of a
controlled
substance,
a second
degree
felony.
Cary
Whitney
was
charged
with
possession
of
methamphetamine,
a third
degree
felony.
Investigators
also
seized
$196 in
U.S.
currency.
The
arrests
were the
result
of a
week-long
investigation
conducted
by the
sheriff’s
department
with the
assistance
of Holly
Lake
security
and Pct.
3
