Mrs. Jo Ann Vaughan Minshew

 

Mrs. Jo Ann (Vaughan) Minshew, age 83, of Hawkins, Texas, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. Texas.


Mrs. Minshew was born January 26, 1925 in Waco, Texas. Mrs. Minshew was employed by Hawkins ISD as a school teacher for 25 yeare.
 

She was the daughter of the late Virgil Vaughan and the late Mary (Fuller) Vaughan. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Minshew of Hawkins, Texas; two daughters, Marlene Minshew Kinney and her husband Mark of Dallas, Texas and Melissa Minshew of Celina, Texas; two sons, Charles William Minshew, Jr. and his wife Joy of Keller, Texas, and Stephen Vaughan Minshew and his wife Terri of McLean, Virginia; two sisters, Patsy Ruth Pike of Dallas, Texas and Mariella Pennal and her husband Neil of Henderson, Texas; by one brother, Virgil V. Vaughan, Jr. and his wife Sherry of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas.


Mrs. Minshew is also survived byeight grandchildren, Christina Minshew Lewis, Charles William Minshew III, Kathryn Kendall Kinney, and Kelsey Kinney; by three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lewis, Brody Minshew and Alexandra Karpinski.
