Two
arrested
in
Hawkins
drug
bust
Two men
were
arrested
on the
afternoon
of May
15th
after
Wood
County
officers
executed
a search
warrant
at a
Hawkins
residence.
Jamie
Rashad
Evans,
24, and
Michael
Brando
Crittenden,
21, were
at the
house
located
at Wells
Street
and 3rd
Street.
They had
apparently
been
selling
narcotics
in large
quantities
from the
residence
for
approximately
a year.
Deputies
found
approximately
six
ounces
of
marijuana
and
almost
30 grams
of crack
cocaine.
The
narcotics
were
packaged
and
ready to
be sold.
Assorted
prescription
pills
were
also
being
sold.
Sheriff
Dwaine
Daugherty
stated
that a
vehicle,
weapons
and
approximately
$1,300
in cash
were
seized
from the
residence.
The
value of
the
narcotics
was
estimated
at
$5,000.
The
sheriff
stated
that the
following

assisted
in the
execution
of the
warrant:
