If you
have
relatives
or
friends
hit by
the
recent
rains,
it may
help
them to
know
that
volunteer
lawyers
from
throughout
the
state of
Texas
are
assisting
people
with
basic
legal
questions
following
the
severe
storms
and
flooding
through
the
State
Bar of
Texas
Free
Legal
Hotline.
The

assist
those
impacted
by
natural
disasters
are

The
hotline,
answered
in
English
and
Spanish,
is
intended
to help
low-income
storm
victims
with
such
issues
as
replacing
lost
documents,
insurance
questions,
landlord/tenant
disputes
and
consumer
protection.
Volunteer
attorneys
will
assist
residents
of
counties
that are
included
in the
recent
federal
disaster
declarations.

Cooke,
Coryell,
Denton,
Eastland,
Grayson,
Hood,
Parker,
Starr,
Tarrant,
Victoria,
Webb,
Wichita
and
Williamson.
