One found dead in Winnsboro fire

The Wood County Sheriff’s office reports that fire personnel responded to a structure fire at 2399 Hwy 11 east in Winnsboro at about 8 pm. on September 24th.

Terry Barker, age 60, was found inside the residence. Barker was pronounced dead at the scene by Oct. 1 Judge Alice Tomerlin. The body has been sent to Dallas for an autopsy.  The investigation is continuing.
